Raymond H. Rouse,
President

Mr. Rouse, President and founder of Rouse Marketing, Inc., is a native of Syracuse, New Your and a graduate of Syracuse University. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

In 1970, Rouse Marketing, Inc. was established to provide exclusive services to renderers and processors
of animal and vegetable fats in developing and marketing feed fat formulas for specific feed requirements.
Prior to establishing Rouse Marketing, Ray worked at Procter & Gamble developing markets for their
by-product animal and vegetable fats during his seventeen year tenure. There he was involved in
developing the first blended feed fats in the US and directing nutritional research at many agricultural universities in the utilization of fats in animal feed formulations. Over the years, Ray, has worked closely with university researchers and has conducted numerous feed fat seminars throughout the US and Canada. Many of the feed fat blending techniques, quality controls, and formulas used today were developed by Mr. Rouse. His Fat Evaluation Charts are used extensively by the feed industry and the university research community.

In the 1980’s, Rouse Marketing began monitoring used restaurant cooking fats and incorporating them in its feed fat formulas. The only available study of individual restaurant chain’s used cooking fats since 1987 has been conducted by Rouse Marketing.

In addition to being President of Rouse Marketing, Inc., Ray is also President of Alifet USA, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of rumen by-pass fats for dairy feeds and special dry fats for the equine market.

Ray is a member of the Poultry Science and Dairy Science Association and many feed organizations.
